A 9/10 in the Telegraph Expert and a nice article about this serious chefs table in The New York Times. Our studio was asked to design the roof terrace for the exclusive fine-dining restaurant in Marrakesh. A place where no more than 12 people can dine and stay overnight. Our client Carlo indicated that his visitors do not know what to expect. Eating at his riad, means just like going to a theater performance. A complete surprise. And in this emotion we found the scenario for our spatial concept.

You reach the roof terrace through a somewhat narrower staircase. After this access, our design opens up as a surprise in a rich green roof terrace with organic round shapes from nature. You enter with a view to the turquoise pool, surrounded by greenery, water and the blue sky. The two spaces on the roof are connected by a narrow corridor. The other side of the roof is a place where visitors can quietly have breakfast or lunch and are surrounded by colorful plants, greenery and the natural material: 'tadelakt'. A very strong, waterproof and durable plaster material finish of lime. Tadelakt also means to rub or massage in. This is reflected in the texture on the walls.
