The Eco Hub City
This is an illustration from my studio, and we've been working on this concept for a while now.
Imagine being part of a sustainable community in our eco hub city, where nature and architecture seamlessly unite to shape the green cities of tomorrow. Set on water, this city is made up of interconnected neighborhood hubs that generate their own food and electricity from water, air, and sunlight. But the innovation goes deeper—literally. The foundations of construction beneath each hub store energy, creating a resilient network that is also physically and energetically connected to neighboring hubs.
These hubs function like the roots of a tree: when one neighborhood experiences an energy shortfall, the surplus from nearby hubs is transferred, ensuring balance. At the heart of this system is the "mother" hub, which prioritizes its "child" hubs, providing them with resources first, much like a mother tree shares water with its offspring before the rest of the network.
This design is based on biomimicry, reflecting nature’s own systems of resource sharing and sustainability. The eco hub city represents the future of harmonious, self-sufficient living.
We are working on this patented project with our international multidisciplinary team of researchers.
